Cubicoff has been selected as the successful contractor for the engineering works related to the expansion of the Refractarios Andalucía plant, located in Guadalcanal (Seville, Spain). This new project includes the incorporation of a modern firing and drying line for refractory bricks, aimed at increasing the factory’s production capacity and versatility.
The scope of work awarded to Cubicoff includes basic and detailed engineering in the mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines, as well as full support in permitting processes and administrative procedures required for the commissioning of the new production line.
The main activities include:
- Design and calculation of structures, frames, and conveying systems.
- Integration of sensors and electrical architecture for the control of critical parameters.
- 3D modeling of the complete system and production flow simulations.
- Preparation of technical documentation, manuals, drawings, and technical reports.
- Technical support during manufacturing, assembly, initial testing, and commissioning.
The collaboration between Cubicoff and Refractarios Andalucía was further strengthened through several technical meetings, during which the phases and requirements of the project were jointly defined, adapting the scope to the actual needs of the new kiln-dryer system.
