Cubicoff, celebrating 15 years of excellence and evolution
In a Christmas atmosphere in 2008, while reflecting by the fireplace, David Pérez Sigüenza, CEO and founder of Cubicoff Open Engineering, put on paper the Declaration of Intentions that would sow the seed of what Cubicoff is today. Back then, with his family growing and the economic challenges of the time, David had a clear vision: to create a company that would allow him to reconcile his personal life with his passion for engineering, and thus Cubicoff was born.
On April 2, 2009, the constitution of Pérez Sigüenza Ingenieros SLL was signed, marking the official beginning of this exciting journey. The early years were ones of learning and adaptation amidst an unprecedented economic crisis. However, David and his team’s determination and commitment allowed them to stay afloat and grow professionally and personally. This period was marked by the establishment of key partnerships and the successful completion of several challenging projects.
Over time, Cubicoff consolidated its presence in the market, establishing solid relationships with clients such as CLC and expanding its reach towards more significant projects, such as detailed piping and support engineering for a desalination plant in Agadir, Morocco and collaboration with Veridos for the implementation of a passport factory in Bangladesh. Despite challenges, 2018 marked a turning point with the acquisition of significant contracts and sustained financial growth.
However, the path to success was not without obstacles. The year 2019 presented financial and organizational challenges, leading Cubicoff to rethink its strategy and internal structure. The arrival of the pandemic in 2020 added a new layer of complexity but also offered the opportunity to reinvent and strengthen as a company. And here came the contracts for the design and calculation of metal maintenance platforms for a CSP Andasol thermosolar plant, the modernization of an industrial plant for Calgovsa, and the PMI of a new leather goods factory in Ubrique, demonstrating Cubicoff’s resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.
Closing the year 2020 with positive results and a clear vision for the future, Cubicoff marked the beginning of a new stage full of promises and opportunities. Under the leadership of David Pérez Sigüenza, the company prepared to continue innovating and overcoming challenges in the years to come, reaffirming its commitment to pushing the boundaries of engineering and industrial architecture.
In April 2024, Cubicoff proudly celebrates its 15 years of trajectory, thanking all who have been part of this exciting journey. With a forward-looking perspective, the company is committed to continuing to offer innovative solutions in engineering and industrial architecture, driven by the passion and commitment of its team.
Here’s to 15 years of success and many more to come!
